How is this different from running Cursor, Crew, or a custom agent stack?
Cursor is a coding tool. Crew is an agent runtime. A custom stack is twenty weekends of glue code. Starport is the workspace those things live inside: the dock, the receipts, the customer-facing surface, the share links, the pricing. You can still bring your own model and your own agents. You just stop building the workspace.
Can I really build my own apps and bring my own models?
Yes. Apps ship as UI plans you can author by hand, generate, or pull from the marketplace. Models plug in by config: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or your own self-hosted endpoint. Your skills, your flows, your wallpaper.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You export everything. Receipts, tasks, contacts, files, themes, custom apps. No vendor handcuffs, no proprietary export format. Your workspace is yours.
Can I share work with my team or freelancers?
Yes. Share an agent, a task, a Pack, or a single receipt with one link. Scope it to a teammate, a freelancer, your customer, or public. Every shared object keeps its own receipt trail.
Where does my data live? Is it in Europe?
EU-hosted on Hetzner. Encrypted at rest and in transit. Tenant-isolated. SOC 2 Type II audit complete, ISO 27001 in progress for Q3 2026. We do not train models on your data. Ever.
Is this really one person's stack? Does it scale to a team?
The $99/month tier is for a single workspace running a small team of agents. Multi-seat workspaces, role-based access, and shared agent pools are on the roadmap for Q3 2026. If you're a team of two, talk to us and we'll get you set up.
